How to use: Grind desirable amount of saffron in a small mortar and then you can use it in tea, Halvas, stews and rice, broth and various foods and juices.

 

Medicinal and culinary properties of saffron:
Drinking saffron tea improves digestion, relieves pain, and stimulates nerves. Saffron is hematopoietic (blood-builder), facilitates blood circulation, and staunches postpartum bleeding. Saffron boosts the sexual energy and disinfects kidney and bladder.

 

As a medicinal property, it can purify and strengthen the liver. It stifles cough, has a positive effect on Bronchitis treatment, and prevents the spread of breast cancer. It is sedative, helps in sleeping, acts as an anticonvulsant, and improves vision.

 

 

Among other medicinal properties of saffron is memory enhancement, learning, and skin lightening. Saffron alleviates seizure cases and toothache, and half to two grams of it in a liter of water is used in brew form. Drink three times a day.

 

Eating a small amount of saffron with honey lessens pains and headaches. A mixture of saffron, Boswellia, and honey has been prescribed by Avicenna to cure imbecility. (Mix 1 gram of saffron, 10 grams of Boswellia, 150 grams of honey, and take a spoonful once a day).
